Aggie Mom's Boutique
This weekend's Aggie Mom's Boutique was a huge success for me & the Henderson County Aggie Mom's Club. Not only were people really excited about the burp cloths, boppy pillows & korker bows, they were really impressed with the quality of the work. I would like to thank all of the Aggies & Aggie parents who made this weekend a success. Tony & I listened and are excited to get to work on the ideas y'all gave us.
Wanted to take a quick moment to share a great story from this weekend. Friday around lunchtime we had a young lady and her mother stop by the booth. They chatted for a moment and then went on their way. About 30 minutes later the young lady came back to the booth by herself to buy one of the burp cloths that said "I love my Aggie Grandma". As she was paying for the burp cloth she told Tony that she had to lose her mom in the crowd and sneek back over to our booth, because her mom wasn't aware that she was going to be a grandma yet! The young lady was planning on using our burp cloth to tell her mother that she was expecting! Tony & I are so excited that we get to play a role in making a special memory for an Aggie Grandma.
Best wishes,
KC

Voice for Children Donation
Voices for Children is a local organization which seeks to provide a stable adult to accompany a child through the court system and foster placement service. They will be holding a silent auction to raise money and awareness on March 7. Several firefighters in College Station got together and made a fire fighter "dollhouse" to be auctioned and I made this blanket to go along with it. Although it was made with the intention of going with the dollhouse, as of now the blanket it a separate lot and will be auctioned off by itself.
I hope that the blanket helps to raise some money for a very worthy cause.

Gift for Great-Grandma KiKi
I made this blanket for my Texas Grandma, Ms. Kathy Knight. The vibrant colors of the flowers made me think of her immediately when I saw the fleece. Although Kathy may have entered our lives as our realtor, she found a place in our hearts and has become a dear friend and an "adopted" grandma.
I'm hoping that this blanket will lift her spirits and keep her cozy with warm thoughts & memories of her time with me & my family until we can visit again.
